Kids birthday parties

*Not offered during the pandemic period!

The Museum offers the possibility of celebrating the birthday of your young curious mind!

On the menu: guided scientific activities and educational games, followed by time when you can serve a snack or a cake … and party!

Description

Activity for 5-8 year-olds: YEAST IS HAVING A PARTY!

Come study yeast more closely! With their scientific moderators, the children will carry out a festive experiment to learn more about these microscopic beings. Wearing lab coats, glasses, and gloves, they will carry out an experiment that will allow them to explain under what conditions yeast can inflate... party balloons!

Activity for 9-12 year-olds: EXTRACTION OF BANANA DNA

Discover DNA, the molecule that is the very basis of life, common to all living creatures. Bananas, flies, humans... do they all share the same DNA? Put on lab coats, gloves, and glasses and, accompanied by your scientific moderators, carry out a fascinating experiment during which DNA, a molecule normally invisible to the naked eye, will become visible.
