Kids in the lab! workshops, an amusing way to learn about Science!

This winter, the Armand-Frappier Museum will offer a series of 9 virtual moderated activities geared towards children between the ages of 6 and 8 and youngsters between the ages of 9 and 13.

Winter session - Science is sweet!

Do you have some curious youngsters at home? The Museum brings science directly to you!

In the company of a scientific moderator, and through laboratory demonstrations, quizzes, and challenges, the youngsters will demystify food science. They will better understand the scientific basis behind all the advice they receive on nutrition. Yes, it is important to eat vegetables and to avoid consuming too many sweets, but why? What are the positive and negative effects of food on the human body and on health? How does digestion work?

With the Kids in the lab moderated activities, let your child discover the health sciences while having fun!

The rate is $50 per connection (9 workshops, 45 min. each) for youngsters living at the same address.If you have several children and they intend to use the same device to connect, only one registration is required. If they overlap the two age groups, choose one of the two.

This amount includes the moderation for the 9 workshops and the material.
